Casa&Deko Furniture Policies and Information
Shipping and Delivery
Delivery will be performed by a third-party company on your selected day and can be canceled before the delivery process starts. After a phone confirmation, a cancellation fee will apply. Merchandise should be received in the time frame given to the Customer. If the Customer is not present to receive the goods, a re-delivery charge will be applied.
The delivery team will place the furniture where indicated by the customer; we cannot move existing furniture or dispose of it. Normal set-up includes attaching mirror supports, reversing drawer hardware, assembling beds and dining room tables. Bunk beds are subject to an additional assembling fee. We are not equipped to dust, hang mirrors on walls, level furniture on carpet, attach headboards to frames, or cut bed slats.
If in the process of delivery, it is found to be too difficult to maneuver a piece of furniture in narrow halls, doorways, or stairways, then CASA&DEKO cannot be responsible for any damage to furniture, floors, or walls. Note that if the home is not accessible to our truck or is above the second floor without access to an elevator, it will be the customer’s responsibility to provide a means of transportation from the truck to the home.
To ensure the safety of our drivers, CASA&DEKO will determine whether they will make deliveries during hazardous weather conditions. A change of delivery date does not represent a breach of the contract.
Warranty
Merchandise sold and delivered by Casa&Deko is backed by a 90-day warranty against material or manufacture defects. During this period customers must provide photographic proof or an inspection fee will apply, Casa&Deko will make an in-home repair without an additional cost. The warranty is voided if the merchandise is transported to a different location from the final delivery address. The warranty does not cover abuse of the merchandise or normal wear and tear. There are no warranties on pick-ups, floor samples or clearance merchandise.
RESTOCKING FEES
Should there be a reason for merchandise to be returned, a 20% restocking fee from invoiced cost may apply. Returns not in the original packaging will not be accepted without prior approval from Casa&Deko Management. Merchandise returned due to an error in ordering incurred, not on the part of Casa&Deko, will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Should you decide to return an item, you MUST call your local store to receive a return merchandise authorization number (RMA #) from the office. If you do not have prior approval for any return, Casa&Deko will refuse to receive the merchandise and send it back with your driver.
DAMAGES/RETURNS/EXCHANGES
If an order has not shipped, customers have up to 90 days from placing their order to cancel it and request a refund. Once the cancellation has been confirmed, the full amount will be credited back to the original payment method used within 10 business days. Customers may also cancel partial orders and request a refund for the canceled items. If an order is not picked up or delivered after 90 days and a refund has not been issued or requested, the customer will receive a refund in the form of store credit only.
Casa&Deko may accept claims for returns for damaged merchandise or missing parts within 60 days of invoice. Should you decide to return an item, you MUST call your local store to receive a return merchandise authorization number (RMA #) from the office. If you do not have prior approval for any return, Casa&Deko has the right to refuse the merchandise and send it back with your driver or refuse delivery with an outside freight company.
We reserve the option of repairing or replacing any part(s) found to be defective in workmanship for up to one year. All items must be inspected by an authorized Casa&Deko representative before the claims can be submitted.
All parts/replacements larger than a small parcel, will ship with your next order or on additional shipment .
Only the person who purchased the merchandise from Casa&Deko is authorized to make the return.
If a part is not available, an exchange for the same item will be given for the returned merchandise or if the item is not in stock, a credit for the purchased price will be given.
A manufacturer's defect or damage must be inspected solely by Casa&Deko, either in person or by photograph, and deemed a manufacturer defect or damage prior to any replacement items or parts being issued. Please check with your local store or sales representative for details needed.
● The following examples are not manufacturer’s defects:
● Colors may vary slightly from the photo because of photography and printing tolerances.
● Foam will soften slightly.
● Sizes are stated in US standard measurements while the actual sizes are manufactured using the metric system, and therefore the sizes may slightly vary.
● There are no exchanges or refunds on any pillows or special order items.
● Items were damaged during transit by a driver or outside freight company No returns - other than stated above or for factory defects - will be accepted.
Note that delivery fees are non-refundable.
PACKAGING/HANDLING/SHIPPING
All products from Casa&Deko are packaged to reduce possible damages that may occur during shipping and handling. However, the original packaging of most of Casa&Deko’s products does not meet the shipping standards for parcel delivery services.
We do not recommend using these shipping services and other similar companies who are not familiar with handling furniture. If you choose to utilize such services, the customer assumes responsibility to ensure that the packaging meets the shipping standards set by the carrier, and that each product is repacked before it is shipped. Any damages, to merchandise, incurred through these services will not be accepted for a parts request, exchange, refund or credit.
Merchandise shipped with an outside freight company must be inspected prior to signing the delivery ticket. If any items appear to have damage, or if the skids are not wrapped, banded and standing up on the skid, you are required to note this on the delivery ticket prior to receiving the goods into your home. I have read and acknowledged all of the policies listed above
